When will TAO.com be available for Android?

We are actively working on the Android version of the TAO.com app and expecting to release it sometime in Q1 2026.

Why didn't you launch Android at the same time as iOS?

2 main reasons:

1. TAO.com is actually an evolution of the original Opentensor Foundation Bittensor Wallet app, which already existed on iOS, so it made sense to start with upgrading the existing iOS experience for those existing users.

2. Android can take longer to develop and test due to the wide variability of Android devices (think screen sizes, folding phones, etc) that require thorough testing to ensure the app is fully functional for the vast majority of Android users.
